Not cashmere soft, but I tried it on with a short sleeved shirt and was not itching. </p> <p>Elle: I'd say the Aquatalias are a bit on the short side in terms of length and slim fitting. Usually I can only fit a trouser sock with them, instead of a bulkier wool or athletic sock. I took a break from actively participating in the forum because I found it hard to control impulse buying (and the inevitable returning). But I gave free reign to my impulses during NAS!</p> <p>Last year, I used the NAS to stock up on much-needed basics and work clothes. This year I was able to splurge on some nicer items.</p> <p>Here's what I've ordered (I use ebates and wanted to get cash back, though I did try some items on in the store):</p> <p>1. Smythe black blazer. Adore it! I'm usually a 4 but sized up to 8 to layer underneath. It's gorgeous.</p> <p>2. Stuart Weitzman short boots. Loved the color, fit, and style. I've been looking for a replacement for similar boots from Lands End (yes, you read that right!) that I have loved and worn to pieces. </p> <p>3. DvF lace skirt. Got the navy in a 6. Hits the low knee on me, but it's just lovely. </p> <p>4. Theory sweater. I got this in both colors. White for versatility and cranberry to duplicate a sweater my late mother knitted for me. Sized up to M for slouchy oversized fit. </p> <p>5. Autumn Cashmere cardigan in grey. It's so soft and cozy! Not crazy about the waterfall look in front though....still debating this one. </p> <p>6. Aquatalia Obsession boots. I have been searching high and low for flat black boots to fit my 13" calves, and this pair did the trick. Pricey but worth it for the fit.</p> <p>7. Ivanka pumps. These looked fun, and I'm hoping they'll fit and work for what I have in mind. </p> <p>8. Hinge lace herringbone sweater. My 10-year old found this and I loved it. It's not something I would have picked, but I'm so glad she did!</p> <p>9. Michael Kors tote bag in grey. Looked like a versatile basic. I also tried the brown Brahmin satchel in store, but didn't like the color in the middle part (pinkish tone). </p> <p>10. Boucle dress. Loved the color scheme and so I thought I'd give it a try. Fingers crossed it works. </p> <p>11. Sam Edelman pumps. Total wildcard for me. Not sure how I might style these. I will have to think hard before I decide to keep them. </p> <p>Some items that I tried and rejected:<br /> Rag &amp; Bone knit moto. The sleeves were way too long...only the tip of my thumb showed. Plus I wasn't in love with the look. I tried a small. </p> <p>Halogen brown leather and suede moto jacket. Ill fitting on my short-waist. Sigh.</p> <p>Paul Green Allison boot in grey suede. I see that Jenava got these in black. I was very tempted, but the Stuart Weitzmans stole my heart and I couldn't justify both. These are sleek and stylish. 2 thumbs up.</p> <p>Wildfox Mauve Dots pullover. Would have bought this one except for the extremely long sleeves. Would have had to fold the cuffs over at least twice! Lovely soft material. </p> <p>Joie lace trim sweater. Very boxy fit on me, and the color of the lace looked off to my eye.</p> <p>I will post pictures when my items come in. </p>
