The sneakers are fantastic; can't imagine that they won't be workhorses.

The skirt will probably fit once it is sized up; the wrinkles worry me.

Everything else looks good as long as it fills a hole in your wardrobe.

What great purchases! These all look fantastic on you.

Re the skirt, you might as well try and compare in another size, if it is available. I did not try this colour but I did find that the wrinkles in mine came out after wearing for 10 or 15 minutes or so. (Sveta and I wore ours skirts while trying on other NAS items in the store and both found the wrinkles worked their way out.)

LOVE the Vince top on you.

I adore the Fryes. But Sveta had the same problem with the comfort of the toe box. So perhaps you can confer with her. She decided against them ultimately. I must say I was over the moon about them myself and wished that I had ordered them when I saw them in person.

Love the Caspians on you, too.

Like everybody else, I think all purchases except for the skirt are great.

The Fryes are beautiful. On the other hand, this spring I finally consigned a pair of $448 Frye boots that never stretched out enough in the toe box to be genuinely comfortable. (Yes, I remember exactly what I paid for those damn boots three years ago.) Of course, YMMV. These were really thick, stiff leather.

I'm with everyone on the skirt, I couldn't tell if the fit was a problem or if it was just really wrinkled out of the box. Something to look into.

The boatneck is just amazing on you. I agree that semi-tucking might be really cute. The Caspians are adorable.

The slipper flats are great with the skirt and sensational with the gray pants!

Don't know about the Fryes--I have the Harness 12R and they are very roomy in the toe.

Yes, I generally like the fit of Halogen skirts because they tend to lie completely flat and have a longer length. I think they changed the fit this year to make them more snug so I need to figure out the correct size to get the same fit as before. I hope that next size up would sit lower on the waist, to give me the exact length I want (to the knee) and no bunching.

Marley, I like the idea of a semi-tuck, I just need to figure out how to do it properly.

Elly, the jeans are Gap real straight. I bought one pair this spring and started wearing them so much, I decided I needed to duplicate. I bought two more pairs on sale for $25 each and had one shortened for flats (that's the one I am wearing with the Caspians). The regular length is good for me to wear with a bit a heel. If I recall correctly that you are quite tall then you may want to check out the tall version.

IDK about the skirt, seems a bit bunchy in the front compared to most of the Halogen seamed pencil fits. I had to size down in mine last year.

I love everything else. The Caspians look particularly good/functional. Do you mind me asking what the jeans in pic 2 are? I like the look of the fit on you.

I'm not a skirt wearer myself so I will defer to others on skirt fit. I like the Frye's and I have found they do stretch with wear. Just how snug are they? The Vince top looks like a workhorse piece, keep! And the slipper flats also look nice. I like that you see less of the top of the foot with this style shoe. Nice job!

I love it all except for the skirt. The fit looks off in the front and I would like to see it a smidge longer. Perhaps the next size up will end up solving those issues.

Wow - I think you scored big time!
Just a couple of thoughts: its difficult in the pic to see how the skirt fits you on the sides because of your arms hanging down, so hard to give you an opinion of the size. Have you given the skirt the sit-down test? The Vince shirt is really nice - it looks like it has a lot of volume - how about semi-tucking it to rein it in a bit? The color and pattern make it a neutral in my book! And, the shoes are great - slightly pointed heel, higher vamp - very current look! Can't wait to see the rest of your haul!

ETA: the Fryes are a "no-brainer" in my book as long as they are comfortable for you. I love them!

I have tried to be very careful this year with NAS purchases - only buying what I think will be real workhorses. One decision I made after my first NAS was to avoid buying anything with wool in it - even the nicest merino or wool blend or cashmere sweaters end up not getting much wear because I find it hard to figure out how warm or cold my office is going to be on any particular day.

Here is what I got so far - waiting for a couple more items as well as a larger size of the Halogen skirt. All opinions welcome, and since most items still have tags attached, feel free to suggest if anything is not up to par and needs to be returned. :)

1 - Halogen seamed skirt and Frye Veronica boots. Still need to figure out if the Fryes will loosen in the toe box - the fit in the toe box is pretty tight. I ordered the skirt in the next size up to see if the slight wrinkling in front will be improved.
2 - Vince boatneck (not really NAS but on sale) and "eurosneakers" (Josef Seibel Caspians). I had these sneakers on my wishlist for about a year and finally bought that using NAS price.
3 - 4 - more striped Vince boatneck.
4-5 - Adam Tucker me too slipper flats.
