I like both shoes but vote flats because I know for myself a flat shoe will get more use. But I have fussy feet when it comes to heels.

With these pants I prefer the flats, but the pumps are gorgeous and would go with cropped pants and skirts and dresses beautifully.

I like both pairs of shoes, and both go nicely with the skinnies. I think the block-heeled loafers are a more fashion-forward look, and I think they would be dynamite with cropped wide-leg pants/jeans or cropped flares, in addition to the other suggestions you've gotten. There is such a difference in heel height, if you can only keep one, I would weigh how you want to wear them--i.e., for lots of walking or not, etc.

I very much prefer the block heels. Block heels go great with the skinny jeans you are wearing, but they also go well with trousers for work, flared/wider pants, and skirts and dresses, too. Love them!

Are you wearing this sweater in the pics?

Can you answer my question about color that I made a post about? I would like it if it leans cool toned and definitely pink, like a baby pink, even if it is pale. I wouldn't so much like it if it leans warm toned like a nude-, tan- or peachy- pink. "Blush" is so hard to tell and so often is too nude toned for my wishes.

Thanks delurked! That's a great point about something bigger to keep me from looking like I'm going to topple. I' e had that sentiment but never put it exactly that way, but it's true!

It's hard to put on tights in July but I think the try on session is a good idea. I am trying to adjust my style from boring corporate (polished but boring) to edgy corporate and maybe these chunky heels will help.

The flats are so comfy! That slight lift is great. I had "skin tone" flats on my list of needs but maybe I'll keep these instead.

I think you could wear the first shoes with both skinnies and straighter (maybe depending on length) pants. I could also see them with dresses or skirts and tights in the winter, but that may not be your preferred look. I'm partial to their look over flats, but it may be my own bias. It's hard to tell your body shape, but see you've got it listed as apple. With my strong shoulder line, I sometimes prefer a larger shoe so I don't look like I'm going to topple over visually, as I sometimes look in a dainty shoe.

It looks like you're at home - nice rug - so would a mini try on session help you out? Try a couple other styles of bottoms and I think you'll find which one you may reach for more. They're obviously very different. Is one more comfortable? FWIW, I like the shape of the flat too. It looks like it's got a slight lift in heel and it would match everything.

Also, love the sweater color. I bet you will get compliments every time you wear it.

I have gone a little over the top. I ordered 27 items online, but then found I could get away this morning and hit Short Hills mall, where I picked up 12 items. Overall, I suspect I'll be returning a lot that is on it's way because of sizes. I struggle between sizes so often order both and return what does t fit well.

I loved the Eileen Fisher shift and bought it in claret and black. Also bought the EF poncho. I love how they look together.

I got the JCrew cardigan in fuschia. Proud of myself for passing up the neutrals. And I bought a scarf that will work with the fuschia. Also picked up a few cashmere sweaters. Will return the size that doesn't fit.

4 pair of shoes (including my question below), including the Tory Burch pumps.

Picked up some basics- Caslon layering ts and a few camis.

My question is: which shoe do you like better with skinnies? The block heel loafer or the flat? And what other silhouette would I wear with the block heel loafer? I want to be sure I will wear them if I keep them.
