For me, the focus was less on shopping for myself and more about seeing how others do it; how they select, evaluate and ultimately decide on their purchases. Also, I killed my budget over Labor Day weekend in Vancouver, so it's Austerity October for me, yay Anyway, I did try some things on here and there, and Aida found me a fab sweater at the Rack after lunch on Saturday that I immediately matched with some grey Paige moto skinnies (for another post). What I want to share today is my purchase on Monday, when it was down to the last few stragglers (you've seen the pics). I joined the group late...recovering after the cocktail party with late brunch with our favorite bartender (lol, OKA my husband) and, not in my kitchen, which looked like a herd of fab ladies ran through it Anyhow, I located Angie's sonar in a local shop in our U Village outdoor mall and fell in line with the gang. Poking around on the racks, I found a sweatshirt in cream (that being my new Winter focus) with faded leopard spots in grey, citron, blue etc. It had strips of the shirt fabric reversed around the collar and down each sleeve, giving it a deconstructed look to my eye. Very unique, and it fit, so away it came. Angie didn't even have to twist my arm or anything! I paired it with some black wide leg trousers and trusty black pointy toed patent Prada pumps for works, and then with Kut BFs, Topshop faux croc skate shoes and my cobalt clutch from The Rack for a relaxed weekend look. </p> <p>What do you think?</p> <p>10/11/2014. ETA the Harlowe and Graham grey and cream marked high/low sweater I snatched out of Aida's hands, lol. There was a whole rack and to be fair, I think she pulled it out to show me! </p>
