Every November I get a call from his assistant confirming what services, frequency and schedule I'd like, and a few weeks later, I get a text with my appointments for the coming year.<br /> Obviously, appointments have to be rescheduled from time to time, but I avoid the whole oh-my-goodness-my-hair-needs-attention-NOW syndrome! A few times over the years this has led to his booking me with someone else in the salon when our schedules wouldn't mesh. My stylist is very happy if I book in with one of her colleagues when she is away on holiday because it means that she does not have to try to catch up a whole week's worth of work when she gets back.
