This nameless,&nbsp;&nbsp;poor woman, from a village in Mozambique....on my mind and inspiring me.&nbsp;</p> <p>14 years ago there were great floods in Africa. &nbsp;Many people climbed up trees in order to avoid the floods. &nbsp;Some were up there for a week or more. Sofia was pregnant and gave birth in the tree after 3 days. &nbsp;There were some other family members there too and her MIL helped. In a TREE with her MIL ! &nbsp;OMG !&nbsp;A &nbsp;South African&nbsp;paramedic hanging from a plane finally reached her to help.</p> <p>PS Angie's post inspired mr to write this. </p> <p>Whenever things get tough, I think of her. &nbsp;She taught me that if she can give birth in a tree above floodwaters, I can handle just about anything. &nbsp;As long as I have access to what I need to deal with "stuff" &nbsp;I will be ok. &nbsp; &nbsp;: &nbsp;)&nbsp;</p> <p>So when I gave birth, when I had cancer, and so many other things, I would think to myself....if that woman from Mozambique could face it with nothing, in a tree ! &nbsp; I can face it with everything ! &nbsp; So there you go. &nbsp;I read up on her whenever I can find something.
