Manchester by the Sea is such an amazing film - I absolutely loved it! Often when I go to the cinema, my expectations are high and I yearn to have an emotional experience. It doesn't happen often, unfortunately, but MbtS certainly came through for me. So understated also. Casey Affleck - what a performance (thank goodness he won last night!).<br />Meryl Streep, after saying that she will have to read her speech, just went ahead and delivered it from memory anyway. So spot on and very, very impressive!<br />I also loved Kristen's haircut!<br />I really enjoyed the show.
