Dresses look like the length on the model. My ideal is 23" from the waist or 40" for a dress. These hit on the knee. My legs are not really long, just average. I was about to give up searching for a casual dress that was 37 to 38 inches long, cotton or some breatheable fabric with absolutely no polyester or spandex, and less than $100.00.&nbsp; Not easy to find.&nbsp; I have a more dressier Maggy London dress that I love so I measured it and it is 38 inches long. this is perfect for my dress length for bare legs.&nbsp; So this dress fits all my requirements.</p> <p>I may have to shorten the sleeves a bit, but that will be easy.&nbsp; One of my frustrations in my search is so many dresses are so short.&nbsp; 36 inches on me look about the same as the models even though I am much shorter. I have long legs for my height but not that long, so I do not know why they are so short.&nbsp; </p>
