You are a styling genius. Even something as simple as wearing that orange topper open (in #3) and leaving off the belt--what a great idea, and it really makes the outfit work. Your arty Doc Martens are perfect with the harem pants, and I also like your Mary Janes, for a more demure look. I like the length of these pants just fine. <br />I often wear mine with black knee-high stockings and ankle booties, so the bit of leg not covered by the pants is just black and blends in. You might try that, to see if it extends the footwear options you're comfortable with. Another thing to try might be the ballet-neck tunic with a shorter topper, like a jeans jacket or a shrug of some sort? <br />In any case, you have a show-stopping set of looks here already. I looked at Pinterest and this forum many times and loved many of the looks I saw and still did nothing. Spurred into action by El Cee's Fall Challenge, I finally tackled the pants. I tried them with every shoe I own and didn't really like any. I think my harem pants are too short although I've seen them worn that way but with my height, 5'4", I need to elongate my leg line and not break it up with too much skin. After trying on shoes, sandals, and boots and many toppers, I decided these are the ones that worked for me. I've also added these outfits to Deborah's wonderful Harem Pant Inspiration thread. I've added a photo of the pants for a S/S look. These pants were a big departure from my usual skinny pants and a real challenge for me. I think I kind of like them but I'm kind of insecure about them. Do they work? What can I do to improve my outfits? </p>
