I haven't been on much these last 9 months because of work, moving cities, small child etc, but I have to say even though I haven't made any waves fashionwise, I have had probably the most successful year clotheswise ever in 40 years. This was probably due to so much help getting a grip on what suited me, and what to ditch.<br /> I have had very few down days as far as getting dressed in the morning goes because after so much searching, I had a formula and knew what suited me. It stood me well in those busy times and I often had people say "you always look nice", and "You have a style of your own" So thanks to all who have helped and shared on the style journey.<br /> I have some down time now in this New Year period so I am going to spend some time taking photos, making collages etc and redefining my style.<br /> This is what I have learned:<br /> I suit a minimal, tomboyish look. Even the dresses I wear are very minimal and simple.<br /> It is important to keep your hair coloured and cut well (even if you like the messy rock star look)<br /> My look revolves around well cut jeans, fitted but skimming longer tops and a variety of jackets.<br /> Accessories can lift an outfit.....bags and shoes are important. Great coloured scarves can add variety to a bland canvas. </p>
