And you look very pretty with the dress.  DonnaF on "My first photo" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/my-first-photo/page/2#post-1091147 Wed, 20 Nov 2013 01:19:30 +0000 DonnaF 1091147@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Welcome, Catnip.  Angie's recommendations are always for adult women, so I don't think you can go wrong in that respect.  The question of age appropriateness comes up with some regularity here, and my takeaway is that adults don't wear stuff that is too short, too tight, and too revealing and have to be extra cautious when shopping in the junior department or junior oriented store because a lot of items are too short, too tight, too revealing, or the fabric is too thin and sleazy.  I am assuming you don't plan to spray paint those skinnies on, right? I am currently age 60, and I get a lot of "You don't look __!", as I'm sure you do.  I'm starting to answer back, "But this is what X age looks like."  We don't all wear sweats and running shoes or whatever they think women of a certain age wear. You look lovely & not nearly 70! The blue color and your haircut/color already frame your face in a clean & classic way. Of course I feel skinnys are age appropriate! My mom is 68 & wears the greatest skinnys & patterned jeans, drapey tops, gorgeous jewelry, moto leathers and all sorts of awesome boots! Her hems are right at the knee which makes her feel comfortable, her pants rise are medium (not too low) & she prefers a regular bikini cut panty (no uncomfortable wedgy thong) She loves quality fabrications but has fun mixing lower end pieces no problem.  She went natural grey a few years ago, and I think her love of fashion makes her feel good & inspires other ladies around her.
