I had a really hard time deciding between these two styles. I don't really relate my style to western or rocker punk so maybe that was part of my problem. I ended up exchanging the Wyatt's for the Veronica's, because they seem a little more versatile and the soles are waterproof which seems more practical for the Pacific NW, but I still love the studded Wyatt's! I think #1 is more cowboy, and #2 is more moto/rocker so it just depends on what style you want to go for. They're both fab!</p> <p>I don't know if the Wyatt is similar in structure to the Carson (it looks like it might be), but I did find the Veronica much more comfortable than the Carson. I sold my Carsons because my feet slipped around too much, plus the sole was thin and curved upward in a typical cowboy shape, which all added up to major ball of foot pain. Veronica is much thicker soled and cushy IMO.
