Picked it up Tuesday evening, and am finally getting around to taking pictures. DH got two pairs of pants, and I replenished my lingerie wash, too.</p> <p>First, the red Avec les Filles coat (1-3). I loved this in the catalog, and loved it even more after Angie named it a top pick. DH and my kids also gave it the thumbs up. (Yes, I’m feeling a bit guilty that Suz, and I think JAileen, and others, are stalking it.) This is the small, my usual size, worn over the heaviest layers on top, and fullest skirt, that I would ever wear under the coat. The fit is great, I think- other than the sleeves being a bit long, but I’ll have that altered. (Common fit issue for me.) That said, if any of you see any fit issues, please speak up! Definitely thinking keep!</p> <p>Second, gray and blue Sam Edelman. (4-5) This was a back-up, if the red one didn’t work. I like the blue contrast, but can see that it might border into bathrobe territory. So, returning.</p> <p>And, finally, Hudson jeans cargo pants (6-8). The fit in the rise is off, and I was only planning to keep them if they were perfect, and I loved them at first try-on. Also, they’re available for significantly less from other retailers, depending on size, so that’s a second strike against them. (These are a 29, and 28/29 are my most usual sizes in jeans. I don’t love them enough to size down.) So, going back. </p> <p>Still stalking a couple more items, so I’ll hopefully be placing one more order before it’s over. </p>
