At Nordstrom I tried the Paul Green Coco (Angie's recommendation #1) and couldn't resist trying the YLF-fave Cayennes also. I didn't like the&nbsp;tie on the back of the Trisha, Angie's #2, which I might have missed if I only looked at it online. The Coco was way too loose at the toe strap, which was not adjustable, and the shoe wobbled back and forth when I walked. The Cayenne heel was too high for me. The brand is gorgeous, but my wallet was relieved! </p> <p>Then I tried on Munro Abbey in gold. <b>Loved them!</b> They are a bit high end for me so I went through a list of questions to see if I could justify the expense. I can see wearing them&nbsp;with&nbsp;dressy items or more casual. They are super comfortable and well made with a 2.5" heel. They are stylish but in a way that I think will last at least a few years, at least for me since I don't go too far into trendy-land. They come in a lot of colors, but I decided I would stick with gold as my light summer neutral, even though I already have another pair of slightly less dressy sandals in that color. My summer wardrobe is pretty small and keeping in the same color palette seemed right to me. </p> <p>On the practical side, they feel very "secure" on my low volume feet which can be an issue with some shoes, and the soles do not slip on any surface even when brand new. I wore them yesterday and they were just a little tight in the ball of the foot area but not much and will stretch just a little. That is trending as my favorite choice at the moment. </p> <p><b>SaraL</b> yes that sofft can be kind of dressy, it definitely does&nbsp;skew toward dressy.&nbsp;I've tried them on and they look really nice,&nbsp;especially the nude patent leather that is one of the choices. I'd really like a pair in a lighter neutral, ideally close to nude but tan is ok too. </p> <p>Here are all the ones I've tried so far on my low volume feet, thanks in advance for any suggestions: </p> <p>1 Gianni Bernini gold wedges. These are new and super comfy and will be my fallback if I don't find anything else. The wedge is a little lower and more casual than I'd like for the dressier option</p> <p>2 CK nude patent: heel too high. Heels above 2 1/2 inches usually throw my hip/back muscles into muscle-pull-zone, even if the shoe itself is comfortable on the foot and well padded.  </p> <p>3 Sofft Innis - tried these months ago and they were really comfortable but the wedge style is not quite dressy enough...or is it? </p> <p>4 David Tate - only ok.
