Susie - thanks! The bag is from an Oroton outlet (70% off!) and is a current fave. I made sure hubby included it in the photo! tee hee. Una (Alaskagirl) - thanks! I am also a bootoholic. I wear them all year round. Kiwigal - thanks! New Zealanders and Australians are like family IMO. Joy, Annabelle, Deborah, thanks for the input on finds. I think I will use it as a catalogue as you suggest. Maybe I will used "history" to record my mistakes! Deborah - the postage from Nordstrom was expensive (around 40 AUD). I wont pay that much unless the item is deeply discounted. At the time I bought them they were discounted because Nordstrom was doing a price match thingy. The total (with postage) came to under 200 AUD, which I thought was a fair price. It took about 10 days to arrive. And I am so glad you are adding Australian items! I assume that means they will appear on the collected items? I will try to do the same when I get more advanced. It much easier when it is a supported retailer. (BTW, quick cross post, I am in NSW and the photo was taken while visiting the Southern highlands.) Inge - thanks for the welcome and for chiming in with that helpful info. Shiny - this is what I did (slightly different from above) - open both YLF and the retailer's site on your desktop. You need to be logged into YLF. Go to the "Finds" page on YLF and left click "Help". You will see a button marked "YLF Collect". Right click that button, then select "Add to favourites".  Click "Add" when the box appears. Then go to the retailers page (making sure you are on the page of the item you want) and left click the star icon at the top right of your page (your favourites). You should see "YLF Collect" listed there. Left click that and a box will appear saying collect item, click collect and it's done. Hope this helps! It explains into detail how you can collect your own finds or how to collect a find someone else has added. Collecting a new item that isn't yet in Finds, works like this: - First, install the YLF Collect bookmarklet in your browser. Here's a short excerpt: There are four folders: <ol> <li> Considering: The default folder for all new finds you collect.</li> <li>Shopping List: A folder for items that you are getting ready to buy.</li> <li>Wardrobe: A folder for the items currently in your closet.</li> <li>History: A folder for items that you no longer own.</li> </ol> On the individual item cards - that you open by clicking on the "i" in the left corner and then on "Details" - you can add extra info about the item. E.g. When I move a pair of shoes to "History", I write a few words about why I retired them (not comfy enough, no longer my style, worn into the ground...). Hope this helps. I use history for items that I've tried and which didn't suit me but they are still a category I haven't filled. E.g. I moved some shoes to History instead of removing them from finds today, so that I can compare future shoes under consideration with shoes I've already panned. I hope that will help me avoid remaking the same buying mistakes. Your boots are bomb! I'm glad that you collected those boots. I was looking at them earlier today and like that height. I use "shopping" in finds to remind myself that I want to get that piece when I can't at the moment. I will use "history " when I have removed a piece from my wardrobe or returned it. I may still want to access it for a post. I am a new member exploring this site - first I discovered Angie's blog, then the forum, and now "finds". What a great idea for sharing information about purchases and potential purchases! And I was pleased with how easy it is to use (bit of a techno-phobe). Anyway, I am in Australia, so I know my particular "find" (a pair of boots) is out of season for y'all in the north, but it's fun to share. Question: what is the "shopping" and "history" category? I think "considering" and "wardrobe" are fairly self explanatory. Any other tips/hints about "finds" people would like to share? Pic 1: My new boots in action on a trip to the country last weekend (long weekend in Australia). The pup was a bit of a reluctant participant in the photo (too many interesting sights and smells).
