I wear them with my long flares, my crops, my skirts (esp midi length sinch the heel gives me height) and dressed too. And because they are neutral, they provide leg-lengthening in outfits where I need it. They've become a real workhorse for me. I'll also post a pic of them IRL shortly :)</p> <p>So all summer I've been looking for the perfect pair of sandals for me. They had to be:<br /> - heels or wedges<br /> - SUPREMELY comfortable (could walk a mile or more in them easily)<br /> - neutral<br /> - work appropriate</p> <p>I've been on this search for a couple of years and never found anything suitable (I could get the first three, but then getting something that worked for the office always confounded it.)</p> <p>Enter the Mephisto sandals below:</p> <p>I got the beige snakeskin version.The key here is that even they have their traditional cork sandal, it is covered in the snakeskin leather, which to my eye makes it dressy enough for the office (not super dressy, mind you - but not so casual that I could only wear them on casual Fridays.) </p> <p>I picked them up in Vegas and walked all around Vegas with them, so I can attest to their walkability (read the rave reviews too.) The straps do not dig or chafe; the sole is supremely comfortable because it molds to oyur foot; the height gives a nice lift but is not too much.</p> <p>I have wide feet, but my best friend has regular to narrow feet and they fit her well too. </p>
