The roll just didn't capture the slit well enough and just looked sloppy on the back. It looked fine from the front. I always rolled my cufs on my white denim jacket simply, no fuss, from cufs to the elbow, but now with this new one method the last layer of the fabric shown is changed, so-this can be crisp as new again! thanks so much!
