It was a good day. We had dessert after every meal. A fire in the fireplace. Hubs dove into the book I got him (The Splendid and the Vile), and I worked on a jigsaw puzzle. </p> <p>And those candles in the dinner table photo? I think they may be as old as I am. I have a little drawer full of vintage taper candles from my parents’ dining room and somehow I’ve only opened them up and used them maybe once or twice in all these years.
