Yes Claire it is silk & so is the blazer. I bought it the day I needed to wear it & the pant length was just right for my 2 1/2 inch (or thereabouts) MK ankle strap pump. Very convenient. The pants I'm wearing today are perfect for VC Eliana's. I remember when my pants needed high platforms without hemming. Is is silk? I bet it feels yummy on. The blazer and shoes are perfect with it.  Your back looks fine to me. I'm bony up top too, and I'm always worried someone is going to call the anorexia police if they see ribs. I'm sure you fit right in at an Oscar party though, where everyone is as thin as a runway model! Maybe I'm too harsh on myself. I lost more weight than intended due to health issues & my ribs seem to show on left side but I'm sure I would complain more if I thought I saw back fat. I'm too critical of myself I guess. I think I'm just wondering if things should be covered up more at my age. I know most people think legs should be hidden from knee down at this age.
