It's part of a larger pattern of greens that shouldn't work on me working anyway for some reason (I feel like I can wear more yellowy greens than a summer ought to be able to, as long as they are not muted/browned. Those shoes definitely would look great with the coat, <b>Jenni</b>. Dressy, yes, but they have that sort of burnished quality that makes me feel more at ease. Also, these Anyi Lu pumps go really nicely with the coat and with the olive pants, for a much more dressed up look, given the heel. Despite the height, these shoes are very comfy. I still have a couple of those pairs of shoes: what I think of as my "fish scale oxfords," the pewter-ish ones by Louise et Cie, and the black and white Mephisto sneakers, which have really been kind of replaced by the same style in gray leopard. But I kept the black and white, because for a while they still seemed useful. I haven't worn them in a couple of years now, though. I could probably let them go. The loafers from that post and the pink sneakers are gone.
