I got them back from the cobbler recently, and now have my first pair of ankle boots. When I took them in, I had him crop them down to a six inch shaft height with a nice cuff to compliment the detailing on the instep. On the day I went to get them, he had me try them on, and they fit perfectly, and looked really good. He then suggested that they could go a bit shorter and I agreed. He took them down to a four inch shaft height with no cuff, and tightened up the fit at the top. They are super cute and I've been wearing them to death.</p> <p>Will post some pictures if I ever remember to get bloody batteries for my camera.<br /> One again, thanks to all who helped, and your comments are welcome.</p> <p>Cheers<br /> Julie </p>
