Lisa on "My boot collection" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/my-boot-collection-2#post-1043612 Thu, 03 Oct 2013 00:11:09 +0000 Lisa 1043612@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Suz-Thanks!  It took a day of wear for the Eccos to break in, but now they are my go to boot.  I highly recommend them.  I did have the store stretch them just a little when I purchased them as I find they run just a smidge narrow.  My cowboy boots were also stretched, a common thing for me in shoes that do not have a really round toe box. Edit to add: I also leather condition all my boots.  The Frye cream is great for this. Angie-Thanks!  This season is the first time I have started branching out into a little bit of a heel.  It's been work, but also fun to start over with my footwear.  Next on my list is a burgundy or printed pair of booties. This is my current collection.  I used to have a few more but they have either been worn out or just passed along over time. Currently I have 11 boots.  3 of them are gear (hiking, horseback riding and snow) and not shown below. Photo #1-Tall Boots 1. Camel-Lucky Brand (purchased last year and still going strong). 2. Brown-Civico 10, a few seasons old and still going strong. 3. Black-Civico 10, the same boot as the brown, also in good shape. Photo #2-Booties 4. Camel-Ecco, my new boot for the season.  I realized I had too many dark boots and these lighten up a lot of outfits. 5. Black Buckle-Ugg, these are still in good shape, but I often reach for the lace up pair instead.  I'm thinking of donating these but not sure if I should. 6. Black Lace Up-Rockport.  My favorite boot.  I had another brand and I wore them so much they wore out so I upgraded to these last year.  Photo #3-Mid Calf Booties 7. Tan-Coconuts by Matissee, these are not in great shape (the heel is half worn away and blue dye is all over them) and I don't fancy the height on my leg when these are tucked into skinnies so now I only sport them with my boyfriend jeans or bootcut jeans.  I'm thinking of passing them on after this season.  They are a few years old. 8. Brown Cowboy-Boulet, these I'll never pass on.  They are from a sister trip and my sister has the same pair in black.  Snakeskin and crocodile.  Thanks for looking.
