Sounds Waaay to familiar. I was on vacation and saw a pair of Angie finds that I loved in navy. I have hard-to-fit feet so I ordered the wide shoes in 3 sizes. I had them sent to my neighbor's house. I know for those of you who prefer going into actual shops you may be thinking why risk online ordering, but over the last 2 or 3 years I have found it to be my best bet. As I live in the UK I can get delivery from several companies that sell Euro brands and I've found that a Euro size 37 is closest to my foot size as it is a smidgen larger than a UK 4 and usually spot on. Plus some Italian, Spanish and German brands seem to 'get' my feet. I still have to try a selection each time I buy, but I've definitely had more success than B &M stores. Una, I did mention higher up the thread, but in case you missed it the snake shoes pinched my big to on my right foots, due to differing feet sizes. I had one pair of booties that seemed to check all the boxes and then I tried to walk down the stairs to my basement in them and the ankle didn't flex at all, idk how I would have been able to crouch in them or handle stairs, it was kind of comical because they fit just fine walking or sitting in a chair.
