Fortunately it was a pleasant night so it didn’t feel too hot and crowded. </p> <p>I wore my black sleeveless Sweaty Betty dress, silver Franco Sarto gladiator sandals, and a tiny black crossbody (wasn’t sure if they had bag size restrictions, but after having to return to the car to ditch my bag in order to attend a baseball game a couple of weeks ago, I was taking no chances!). It’s been ages since I had a professional manicure, and I have an appointment for one on Tuesday. </p> <p>I really like the cool neutral version in pic 1. Pic 2 is lovely but probably better for someone with a warmer skin tone. I’m also thinking of DIYing my own color palette — see pic 4. What do you think of those colors? My actual hand is in pic 3 — even though my hands are increasingly showing my age, I still like them and don’t mind showing off a bold manicure now and then. My nails are quite long now and will get a trim before I have any polish. </p> <p>Thoughts? Ideas? </p>
