But for me, these particular ones would be tricky, with that heel height and the narrow heel -- I think I'd end up catching in a sidewalk or&nbsp;slipping out of the shoe&nbsp;and&nbsp;twisting an ankle. Plus the high vamp is stumpifying to me. Alas....</p> <p>I do agree they can be easier to fit especially for those with a higher instep and narrow heel (that's me, too). I have narrow heels and a very high arch/instep so as long as I can get my foot into a pair, mules stay on very well and are comfortable for my foot type.&nbsp;</p> <p>I love regular&nbsp;strappy, dressy shoes, but really dislike fussing with those tiny buckles putting them on and taking them off&nbsp;so the big benefit for me&nbsp;is the ease of just slipping mules on and off. Personally I love the ease and comfort of mules so I am good with this. Interesting to see if they do in fact trend up.</p>
