It’s cold and clear at the moment so I no longer want to wear summer dresses.&nbsp; After a wet summer I think we are in line for a nice autumn thanfully.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>I take out about 10-12 items and add in a similar number of winter pieces from storage. I will do the same again in May but with a smaller number of pieces.</p> <p>After reviews and try ons I have edited out four pieces this month - and added in one cream linen second hand blazer. It was a find in a Dress for Success sale. It’s a great transitional weather piece for me and helping me move away from black as a neutral.</p> <p>Out after the assessment - my teal coat ( it’s too retro for me and it may as well be donated at the start of winter), my spotty dress ( too short and after six years it is time - I think), my grey merino ( worn out) and my lilac merino ( lost - very very sad!). Finds below.</p> <p>On my shopping list is still a puffer jacket and a couple of lightweight merino tops. I am trying not to add too much as spending priorities are in other areas. Knowing me there will be a wildcard or two though.</p> <p>Here are some recent outfits. </p> <p>1 - work look - excuse the grumpy face!<br /> 2- to work but feels quite sports luxe<br /> 3 day to night transition for Jessikam. First look was for work at home and errands, final look was for heading out to dinner with friends.</p> <p>What I am noticing is that my favourite looks often have something new, something thrifted, and something old ( three plus years). I feel like my wardrobe is in a good place when things evolve this way and feel good.&nbsp;</p> <p>I have the greatest success with second hand bags, blazers and wildcards.&nbsp; Three of my four blazers are thrifted, and three of my six day handbags are second hand.&nbsp; In comparison I only have one second hand dress out of about 15, and three tops (including tees, blouses, knits etc) out of about 30.</p> <p>I still wear lots of colour but these are very neutral!</p> <p>Thanks for looking. </p>
