It was so lovely to talk with her! </p> <p>I know I'm a copycat, but it's the kind of dress that can be worn lots of different ways and individualised. I really like it off one shoulder.</p> <p>#1. With a beaded belt/collar made from my DH's gran's 1960s suit she had tailored in Hong Kong. It was destroyed by moths but I was able to salvage this beautiful beadwork and make it into something that I could wear. The thing is, I have recently done a huge purge and have been trying to build a monochromatic wardrobe of pieces that I love. The striped dress doesn't fit the monochromatic colour palette.
