Our neighbourhood looks much the same. We lost a small evergreen and branches from our old maple, but nothing too serious. I'm grateful that we removed the huge 120 year old maple&nbsp;tree from the back last fall. It was dead inside and a serious risk, but oh, how we loved it. Still, it would have been a disaster today. Our house or our neighbours would surely have been hit by a falling branch.&nbsp;</p> <p>Our power has been on and off all yesterday and today; it has been back on now since about 1 pm so at least our house is warming up again. I'm just grateful we are all safe.
