I'm new here, but I'm gonna jump right in!

I have no idea what your budget is, but I LOVE the North Face Grace jacket: http://www.thenorthface.com/ca.....acket.html and http://www.thenorthface.com/ca.....acket.html. It's very high quality and is definitely an investment piece, and it comes in some fun colors. I have both the Grace rain jacket and the Grace winter jacket from a couple years back and am thrilled by how functional and stylish they are. The rain jacket has been well loved when I'm back in my hometown of Seattle, and the insulated jacket made winter in Ohio (where I went to college) much more bearable. The belt does wonders at creating a waistline, even when wearing bulky layers underneath. Also, if you hunt around online you might be able to find last year's style for cheaper.

Angie just blogged on an H&M Spring Trench coat (Jan 17th). I'm sure it can get wet, but I don't know its water-resistance.

My rain coat (trench) has seen better days and I lost the belt this fall. It's something I need and yet I don't really have a ton of time to look for a great one. Has anyone seen any good ones? I would like it to either be a fun color or a funky styling keeping in mind my personal style and rectangle body type. It also needs to be able to get wet as I have no hands for an umbrella at the moment. Thanks!
