I tweaked it and wore a black sueded slimmer fitting button down shirt open with this outfit yesterday at my new temp job. I got some really great compliments and many people loved the boots. But I think that this particular jacket is making you look bigger than you are. It’s too baggy on the sleeve and not the best shape for you. The boots work great with the gray skinnies. I suspect you could also get away with black (ponte knit, jeans, tights) because the laces are black. I know fashion pundits for petite people usually tell you to go for one color to elongate and look taller, but you are pretty proportionate so I suspect you can ignore that "rule."</p> <p>Is the jacket gray? I would love to see same outfit with either a dark blue denim jacket, or black jacket (leather/pleather?) For the top/scarf, I would just choose colors that look good on you, and then add a top layer if it's cold- a swingy cardi, boyfriend blazer or boyfriend cardi. I loved them when I got them, but have been too chicken to wear them so they show the whole boot.
