That said, I never leave the house without more. I am so pale (light skin, eyes, and hair) that I really feel naked without more. I use a physicians blend bronzer that is very light - I use it instead of blush because I have a ruddiness to my skin and it doesn't make sense to add red/pink to it. I use a brow tint and mascara too. It sounds like a lot, but I keep it to a natural look. I also love the Laura Mercier Caviar stick...so easy to use and it stays on all day. </p> <p>I have had a few makeup applications at stores and I have to say that I have never been happy with what they do. Their job is to show off the "colors of the season" and they don't translate well for me. (Very light). I always use black mascara, sometimes plum or charcoal eyeliner, and Clinique Angel Red lipstick, which is sort of sheer and not in your face red. I am fair with green eyes and salt and pepper hair. I don't like blush on me, never use it. In my bathroom, by the front door, in my purse, and in my car. So I put something on my lips every day, too. But my whole makeup routine only takes a couple of minutes, so I rarely do the bare minimum. I add a lipstick or lip balm. It only takes about 2 minutes (really) and makes my look so much more polished. The trick with the concealer is to concentrate it in the corners of your eyes and blend well.
