Fashion often seems to take itself far too seriously or generates controversy because the designers seem to have no common sense or connection to the real world. This almost seems to be poking fun at fashion in general.</p> <p>And yes, the main point of runway shows is to create buzz for the line. The vast majority of people are looking for generalized trends, not the specific pieces.
