I experimented with some pink toned cream foundation and it blended in quite miraculously, so I'm not sure. Not too “out there “. My own attempt with free AI and a basic picture from my phone had me as a soft summer . The more sophisticated approach using chroma numbers had me as a soft spring . I’m not sure about that last one , as most of the spring colour palette leaves me cold , metaphorically . Soft summer is closer to the autumn I always thought I was, and it opened the door to colour options I wasn’t considering . I’ve worn SO much spice , olive , orange etc for the past few years I’m a little tired of it . I had one of my coworkers (the two of us fell down a major rabbit hole at work one morning recently when we should have been doing actual work) use her paid AI to produce a colour palette using the <b>chroma numbers</b> (am I using the right terminology here?? lol) from my skin, hair and lips . Utterly fascinating. &nbsp;</p> <p>As I've mentioned many times before, my weekend wardrobe does not resemble nor cross over from my work week clothing, and that's ok. <b>During the week I wear only &nbsp;black</b>, (with the odd touch of red here and there as it's one of our corporate colours ) &nbsp;and experiment with some more fashion-forward/ trendy looks : tonal, architectural, some really athletic looks, but also some dressy looks with a blazer and a dress. &nbsp;My footwear reflects that part of my style persona too. &nbsp;</p> <p><b>But weekends let me indulge in some colour and a softer look than I usually sport during the week. </b>&nbsp;I usually forgo accessories unless I'm headed out to dinner or some occasion, and makeup is minimal . &nbsp;<b></b></p> <p>This <b>cotton/linen top</b> has become an absolute favourite. It does NOT crease at all, has a great dry hand-feel, and is comfortably slouchy. &nbsp;It also works with every casual bottom I own, although I love it best with tonal light wash jeans. &nbsp;I love it so much I duplicated it in black &nbsp;;) &nbsp;These are <b>new-this-summer</b> (first wear was today) <b>barrel jeans</b> and the sandals are an old/but sudden new workhorse . &nbsp; I switched the jeans out for long loose denim bermudas for the rest of the day - super hot , windy and smoky here, ugh. &nbsp;Nothing like being shut up inside the house on a summer day - grr.&nbsp;</p> <p>I don't have a great set-up for taking photos : the full-length mirror is directly opposite the window which is a south/west full-on sun exposure, and the bedroom does not have overhead lighting.
