Keep looking there. They get new dresses in everyday, but their website is a mess. Consider the regular dress department too and have them hemmed. Do you have a Nordstrom nearby? ATL can be good for dresses. Mango, Zara, H&M, French Connection too. You might even have luck at JC Penny and Traget? But stay discerning about what you purchase.

Actually, Macys is the one place I have looked for dresses and I came up empty handed.

Macys has a very good dress department if you can muster up the energy.

I haven't looked at dresses too much this season, but I was thinking I might have to resort to this. And to hemming too. Are there particular places that you recommend I start looking? Thanks.

Thank you. The quintessential height of an American women. (the average height of US women is around 5ft 3 and a half, which is actually petite. I find this interesting.)

Try going to the petite dress area and looking for mini’s, Patience. You also might like to hem a few a petite dresses to mid thigh length. Dresses are short this season that I’m wearing normal dress lengths as tunics. I can’t seem to get a dress I like that’s just over the knee at the moment. Hope that helps.

I've found a lot of nice blousie tops that fall to the top of my thigh. But I'd really prefer a few that fell to mid thigh. About the only ones I've seen were the two posted on Ana's tunic thread. I feel like I've looked everywhere without success. Any ideas? (I'm hourglass)
