How you use it is entirely up to you. It feels a little like social media is being presented as the bad guy but it's an amazing tool for sharing fashion, information etc. I love it! It's through social media channels that I have discovered so many amazing ethical clothing brands. I think good quality clothing only sells itself if people know it's out there, hence the need for marketing via social media. I rarely shop in stores these days and rely on my social media channels to let me know whats available. I also think that the companies sacrificing quality and design for a stronger focus on social media would be doing that regardless of the marketing avenues they use.
