Ooh fun! Thanks for indulging me! I think the first scarf might be a little too big. If the fabric is thin enough, you can try folding it down into a smaller triangle. Or try just folding over the long edge of the triangle (the part that goes around your hips) once or twice so that the hanging part of the triangle is smaller. The photo shows the proportions I like. But your preferences may differ! The second one looks particularly good with the colours of the skirt.

Not Brooklyn - who I'm sure will be thrilled to see these fantastically executed looks on you, Suz Fab idea!

Both versions look elegantly boho-lite and came together beautifully! The cork platform sandals adds another boho-lite touch!

The hip-scarf is a fun nod to the '80s. Such a playful decade!

Brooklyn suggested that I might try the hip scarf with this skirt. Here are a couple of options. These scarves are rather large, so the ties are correspondingly long. I suppose I could tuck those in, but it would probably start to feel quite bulky. I have a few other scarves I can experiment with, but these were the ones that came immediately to mind. I haven't tried sitting/ walking yet; I'll need to do that to see if it is something I will enjoy wearing IRL. But it's a really fun idea and I can see it working, especially when travelling and you want some variety with one bottom. Plus, the scarf could be repurposed to cover shoulders, etc. in cooler indoor environments. Thanks for the inspiration!
