As an explanation: it’s nearly winter here in Australia and in our climate this is a transitional season / winter skirt. </p> <p>This past summer was so hot and muggy, I couldn’t wear any skirt, even in a breezy fabric, because the fitted waist was too much and cut of air circulation, making it hot and clammy. So it was a loose dress summer! </p> <p>Now I must confess the black skirt was still under consideration. I ordered two with a view to returning at least one. The other skirt is more of a grey and shorter. It’s flattering but feels stiff and digs in. I probably need one size larger, but it wasn’t available. I need to make the decision today and I’m pretty sure I’ll keep the longer black skirt. I think it’ll be a useful wardrobe item, no?<br /> Pics 7&amp;8 are of the rejected skirt. </p>
