Personally I wouldn't worry about the rose gold being too matchy with your purse. I <i>would</i> want to check that the two shades will coordinate well; it's something you can only tell once you get them together. We could look at photos here, and you'd probably also want to have someone advise you in person. But it's a color you like, and it looks great with your skin, so I'd be inclined to snatch it up. I can't say how many "pewter" leather items I have--shoes and belts--because it is such a great neutral with my hair. Many of them don't go together all that well, though. </p> <p>Ivory also looks pretty to me, if you like patent; it is an off-white, not yellowy shade. It is patent leather with a jute heel, so very low contrast between heel and shoe.</p> <p>Canyon Rose seems the one choice that is close to a nude for you; it is a very soft blush pink patent, with a medium-brown wood tone heel. Well, uh, they come in open-toe styles too. And are also on sale. :)<br />I really only want one pair in this style, and what I really think I need is a super-versatile spring-summer neutral. Canadian climates really do preclude the use of open-toe footwear any time after October.<br />You had all mentioned "twine" as a good nude shade for me on the previous thread, which obviously ensured that it wouldn't be available in this style. Are any of the other ambiguous colour names (like Electra or Punch) a viable alternative? Would you advise a cream-coloured one? Or perhaps the rose-gold metallic?
