Kept walking around the dressing room, adding heels, etc., to see if my first impression would change. The ruching, length and sleeves are brilliant, and the fabric is great. In the end, for whatever reason, I just felt frumpy and not fab. I went home with a plaid Eliza J that I would describe as more fit and flare, and I’m happy. I wanted a warm winter maxi skirt. Might keep as loungewear but most likely not. TTS.</p> <p>UPDATE-NOT keeping. Definitely not worth hand washing.</p> <p>Caslon hooded french terry sweatshirt -I didn’t realize the only closure was the drawstring. And it is doesn’t fit me, which means it is likely TTS or slightly small. Never hurts for me to try xxl because some run large.</p> <p>Halogen Tie front pullover sweater-either TTS or slightly large. The material was not nice. Hard, weird, I’ve never felt anything like it before and hopefully never will again. </p> <p>Maggy London ruched floral midi dress-Angie’s top pick.<br /> Lovely material, wonderful drape. Not sure about it.</p> <p>When I first saw it in the catalog my first thought was that it was pretty. My second thought was that the flowers were bigger and brighter than ideal for me given that my features are smaller. And that the higher neckline wouldn’t allow skin to break it up.</p> <p>I ordered it given Angie’s high praise. My concerns were correct. Also, one of the upper arms is covered with flowers and one is solid black. And, there is one part where my bumps show.</p> <p>This dress is the bigger of my two sizes. I’d say it is TTS but it might be a bit large. It flows over almost all of my “extra bits”.</p> <p>I’ve reordered it in the same size to see if the pattern is more even. And I’ve ordered it one size up to see if more drape helps with the bumps without being too big. </p>
