Yes there were tube tops, and yes there were short overalls; but never with knee socks and loafers. It's the combination of all these things that caught my eye. I'm quite certain that the footwear of choice back in the '70s would have been Dr. Scholl's sandals. I'm sure it wouldn't have been knee socks and loafers. Is this a new trend, or was this young lady just marching to the beat of her own drummer? I couldn't help but notice the outfit of a college-aged girl that was a waitress in the restaurant, and am wondering how many people dress like this.
