This dress also has those pockets, adding some additional bulk at the hips. But it's very cute, and you won't know until you try it on! The green color was very different than on the website (more brown and muted in real life) and the sleeves run small so I had to unbutton it or it was way too tight. I think it would work if it was straight and didn't have the drawstring--that way you could wear a low slung belt to rein it in. The new one is tempting but I am unsure if the drop waist would be very flattering. Does anyone wear drop waist dresses? Does it flatter a particular body type best? The cowl neck is very flattering but I didn't like the gathered arms all that much. There is also not nearly enough material on the bottom to get that a-line look featured in the online shot. . I tried both the regular &amp; petite but it just didn't work. It's also VERY short - definitely mid-thigh. </p>
