Deborah, The dress measures about three feet from the back, so that would be knee length on me. I will definitely need some black slacks at some point. I do have a pair of straight leg jeans from H&M that are too maternity for now, but I can tell that won't last much longer.

Really smart and specific advice, Astrid, thanks. Yeah, I really like the way that last top looks, but the material and the price for the material is a put-off. I have actually barely been thinking of summer because it is so cool, but I realized I am going to Slovenia next week, and it may actually be warm there! So unprepared. Fortunately I am going to be around anti-judgmental people.

Natalie, it seems like most cheap tops these days are made of such flimsy material I am afraid of it being too "anatomical" if it's form-fitting. I am hoping these ones would be more substantial but non tent-like. I actually have a WIW with a normal tank top with a drapey scarf over the front but after looking at the photos I am afraid to post. Probably should and get to the bottom of it. I think I may sometimes be a little overly sensitive/overly critical at the moment.

#1: I like both the leggings and the top. The top would look cute with your new skinny jeans and boots too! Synthetic doesn't bother me as long as it feels nice - and it typically has the added bonus of being easy to care for.

#2: I think this dress is great! Love it in the orange, but the blue is pretty too.

#3: Great tunic and I think this is great for your style.

#4/5: Basics that will get a LOT of wear. I like both. You might want to pick up more than one tank if the price is right for your budget. Do you have a Target? They had some decent maternity basics for a good price.

#6: Between this dress and #2, I'd go with #2. Even with a belt I fear #6 will be awfully tent-like and make you feel bigger than you actually are. I'm fairly short, so when I was pregnant, my belly had nowhere to go but straight out - wearing something like this was simply not flattering.

#7/8: Two more great basics. Personally, I like the simpler lines of #8 over #7, but I'm not much of a ruffle girl.

You have such a great sense of style - trust your instincts and you will look fabulous and fashionable. It's been a while now (my little guy is almost 7!!), but my absolute favorite top was a fitted but stretchy black jersey v-neck top. It looked just as great dressed up with dressy pants or dressed down with denim. It was my "go-to" piece when I wasn't feeling great or I felt like it was really important to look particularly pulled together. Other days were simply not my fashionable best and I decided I was going to be okay with that!

Take care of you and that baby - and remember that everything else is just icing on the cake! (easier said than done, admittedly)

The orange dress is gorgeous! I would definitely get that. I would wear that dress now! I like the leggings, grey tee and pink tanks but am wondering if you can get them cheapter at Old Navy type places.

Definitely get the leggings for layering under tunics and dresses, either in black or dark grey. I'm not in love with the top in #1, like you said it's synthetic and it does look like you could get problems if you wanted to layer with it.
I really like the dress in #2, it looks like a great breezy summer dress and would be a good option if we finally get warmer weather. You can also layer jackets over it and shirts and leggings under it to wear it later on. And you can always add a scarf or some bangles for interest. When I just had a look the french navy was available, I love the idea of that color.
#3 looks alright, but they say it's hand wash, so I'm not sure how well it would hold up? I don't think it's worth the money.
#4 and #5 look like great basics, also good for layering. I see those with jeans. Do you already have a pair? #4 in grey and #5 in black sounds good, although I also like the blue and pink for the tank.
I actually rather like #6 and I think it could have potential, but what the others said about being cautious because there's so much fabric makes sense too. Maybe you'll simply have to try this one on to decide. Do they have easy returns?
For #7 and #8, I like #8 much better. I'm not a fan of the pink ruffles. On the other hand #8 is made out of 100% polyester and that would be a criterion for exclusion for me. Are you alright with that?

Agree with Denise's comments. I liked a bit of length in my dresses when pregnant. So unless #1 was worn over pants/jeans I think it may not be practical.

How long is the dress in #6? I could see this looking good on you and wonder if it would be worth shortening?

I think I recall from a previous post that you do have some maternity jeans? A good pair of non Jean pants could be useful also.

I went a bit over board when I was pregnant and ended up with things I didn't, or barely, wore. So I think you are approaching your maternity wardrobe with great wisdom.

Wow, Denise, you are good at this with these questions you are posing. I am still stuck back at what can I buy that is not awful and not too expensive. Of course, that's why I am asking for help here :)

Kellygirl, thanks I am doing pretty well so far. With the boho dress, I think I would try to wear a belt between my bust and bump when I get enormous, but I get what you are saying too. I feel like I am going to get so enormous I will actually need a tent I don't see where the baby has to go in this body of mine but out. Yes, I am a little frightened :)

I am adding a picture of the orange dress with leggings, but I feel like this photograph makes it look better than it probably does in real life.

I like the dress in 2. Seems like if would be a great warm weather dress which you may be able to transition to fall with leggings and a tee underneath. I love 3,4, 5 and 8 too. Those look like versatile pieces! I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. I think the boho dress in 6 is cute but I caution you that as you get bigger, some of the more voluminous dresses can make you feel bigger that you are--at least that's how I felt. There's no way I would have been able to pull that one off even if I could have found a belt that was big enough to go round my belly!

Hope that you are feeling well

I never had any kids so I'm not remarking with any kind of been-there wisdom...

But from a style standpoint, here are the ones I like:
#8 -- Looks more your style than #7 and I think you would wear it all the time. Very nice cut and modern looking yet so versatile.
#2 -- dress looks good for hot weather, if you have it. If not, you need to think about how this will work with jackets or sweaters. I prefer this dress to #6, although if #6 were a tunic and not a dress I would like it better.
#4 and #5 -- You would look great in these kinds of ruched tops. What jackets do you have planned to wear during pregnancy? That might determine the colors.

Do you have maternity jeans picked out yet? I know Paige makes great ones. It might be worth getting a pair you can wear with these tops.

I am checking out the online sales. Do any of these look like good options to you? I know this is long, please feel free to respond to any portion you have the patience for.

1.) Leggings--long enough to tuck into shoes, oddly appealing. Can also buy this outfit head-to-toe, but the top is $$ and completely synthetic.
http://www.isabellaoliver.com/.....TR050.html

2.) Summer dress orange--not sure if the very small size will fit me, but it’s the only one available. The other colors I could order larger.
http://www.isabellaoliver.com/.....DR135.html

3.) Tunic--probably still too $$
http://www.isabellaoliver.com/.....DR123.html

4.) Wrap T in grey
http://www.isabellaoliver.com/.....TP112.html

5.) Simple ruched tank, probably in black
http://www.isabellaoliver.com/.....TP020.html

6.) Dress: the price is right. With a belt it wouldn’t be awful, right?
http://www.bellybutton.de/umst.....t_id=16396

7/8.) One of these? Pretty $$, but I’d wear it at least once a week.
http://www.bellybutton.de/umst.....t_id=32267
