I'm happy with the fringe for now but she cut it on the longer side so I can cut it shorter if I get game. I am no expert but would also recommend more severe thinning of the lower layers to create a new shape. This could be versatile in that it could be dried and straightened into a sleek bob, or flicked out at the ends. I'd probably be inclined to start with a longer and soft fringe, maybe even one that you could sweep to the side. I can't think why, but I have an inkling it would suit you. Also if you don't like it, it will be less time for it to grow out! Oh, and don't do it if you have a cowlick in the front of your head. I do, and tried a fringe (bang) once and it was a *disaster*! No amount of product, blow-drying etc, could get it to lie flat for any amount of time. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
