I tend to worry about letting something go because I might miss it, OR I find myself eyeing a NEW something very similar to a piece from my past. </p> <p>Having a capsule of purged items is a better visual guide <u>for me</u> than a spreadsheet (e.g., I removed one skirt, ok, which skirt?) and I can look back at those pieces and be reassured that I made the right choices when that worry feeling creeps up again. So far, it's been really my tried and true jeans (these babies will cruise past 30 wears no problem), but mostly my newer sweaters, suggesting I really was sick and tired of my collection as it was (?) - but will be interested to see if I go for some of the older ones once the new favourites have been worn a bit.&nbsp;</p> <p>As to removal, so far just one item - a gray acrylic sweater that was bought "to complete a capsule" rather than because I truly liked it *slaps own hand* ... hopefully it will bless some new owner as it is still in great condition, on the plus side. It's not a bad sweater, just not me and not comfortable on my allergy-prone skin.</p> <p>Anyways, just sharing for fun and to chat because Monday - although I'm sure as more "data" is available I'll be reaching out for your thoughts on what it all means :D</p> <p>Have a great day all! xx </p>
