Oh, wow! Thanks Delurked, and everyone who chimed in.

Angie: Thanks, these were exactly the patterns I was thinking, though I wasn't sure about the vista. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Robin I see a dark teal background that is quite prominate. The design is a rust floral with a little bit of white. It is shown with a medium brown plain pant.
Evita, the animal print is shown with a lighter brown pant . The blue shirt is down with bright navy pants and the last shirt looks great with black bottoms.

delurked, YOU ROCK!!! THANK YOU for helping and being very supportive :)

cjh, nice additions! Thanks :)

Sweet Robin, since I know you, and what you look like, the VISTA VALLEY is the way to go for your complexion and wardrobe. Next would be the HERITAGE GEO. Both will look great on you!

The sleeves will need a good hack.

Good work on the descriptions, delurked. I would add the brown tones in the Vista Valley print might be called taupe or dark taupe, or cocoa. To me the leaves are kind of an airy fern texture.
d design.

Great job delurked! I’ll add that Evita is a ‘leopard’ type print rather than snake or other reptile. The brown is almost an orange to my eye and the overall effect of the blouse is warm-toned and a bit ‘busy’ (I do like it - busy isn’t meant as a negative per se).

Ok, not promising to be the best at this, so others please feel free to chime in,

The first pattern, belleview is close to a navy background. It may skew a bit steel or gray in the navy blue. The florals on the print are somewhat larger and spaced not in a super symmetrical pattern. The main floral is a rust like color with smaller amount of ivory flowers. I consider the florals to be warm in tone.

Evita is an animal print with an ivory background. The print has a lot of brown and also has black. The brown is a mid tone and the overall blouse has the look of brown with cream.

Heritage Geo is my favorite, and that's because I like blue. It is a smaller scale print than all of the others. It is a geometrical uniform print with what I would consider to be a diamond pattern in a soft white with a mainly blue and a little black inside each diamond. I would call the blue kind of a medium shade of blue, possibly with a little gray in the blue. In the picture it reads more cool toned to me, but others might see it differently.

Vista valley is a black background. The print is largely ivory and is definitely a large scale print throughout the entire blouse. There are large trees and swirling branches and perhaps florals in the print. There is also some brown in the print. The brown is not a dark brown, but it isn't as light as a tan either. Maybe more of a coffee color if it's added a little cream in it.

The NYDJ blouse featured in Angie's top NAS picks looks perfect for me, but the names of the patterns don't tell me anything about whether they're the right colors for me.

Anyone feeling aartistic enough to describe the patterns for this blouse?
