I recently got refitting, too, and it can definitely be hard finding sizes! I've had really great experiences with Freya and Fantasie, like Maya. You are actually fortunate in Ireland to have Bravissimo so close. Maya is probably correct about the size filter.

Dawn, I recetly returned to intimacy because my bras felt a bit loose at a 30 and they agreed. That makes me a 28G. I wish I were your size! It is sooooo easy finding your size! I won't hear otherwise!

There are plenty of pretty bras in your size. Try Freya, Panache, and Fantasie. Get used to lace and seams too. They give much better shape and support and last longer too. Angie caught a glimpse at my bra through an I'll-fitting buttondown so she can vouch for the fact that even at my terrible freaky size, pretty bras are possible (normally that would be embarassing, but Angie and I are fairly close :p). Ok, I don't actually much care about bras being pretty, but it just so happens pretty bras seem to give the best shape. Lace is functional as much as aesthetic. Most women wouldn't consider my bras "everyday" bras, but rather "special" bras for a significant other. Well, I wear mine every day and I have no significant other.

A DD is equivalent to an E by the way. That's probably why you didn't see too many results if you filtered to a 30DD. Try filtering to 30E instead.

As part of my kicking myself out of my February style rut, I got a bra fitting three weeks ago. For once, the fitter agreed with me that I need a 30 band but also fitted me for a DD cup... and then told me straight away that they only stock a couple of bras in that size. Anyway, I bought a new bra in red that day and was absolutely astonished at the difference a properly fitted bra can make. My clothes fit much better now and I no longer have that pesky four-boob look.

However this brings into a whole new world of awkwardness when it comes to bra shopping. I have turned to the internet (Figleaves mostly) for bra shopping now because nowhere in my city even stock more than two or three tshirt bras in a 30 band, let alone sports bras or strapless bras.

Some brands don't even make a DD but instead suggest an E for my measurements, while other brands' cup sizes go from D, DD, DDD to E. Needless to say, this makes buying a bra online far more difficult than it should be.

It also seems that when you go over a D cup, bras turn from pretty lacy delicate pieces of beauty to the most ugly pieces of beige and black underwear. I literally have no choice in what bra I actually want- my options are black, beige and white. Anything which is anyway pretty has heavy lace on it which means it will look lumpy under a tight knit.

I have had some luck in buying sports bras as I already love Shock Absorber sports bras and just ordered a 30DD. I also bought a Chantelle half-cup invisible bra in 30DD as well and love it to bits. I think I'll be placing an order with Bravissimo next as they seem to have some colourful options, or saving my cents up for another Chantelle bra.
