Loving #1, Amy! Great color and proportion. I'm with the the others in feeling that #2 could be a bit bigger to keep the sense of cropped versus small. I do love you in gingham!

Thanks Sue -

The shirt in #2 is also short sleeved I'm not sold on it either - and my husband certainly wasn't. That checked shirt may be on the chopping block this spring, I'm not sure.

I'm finally back to my normal energy level after working hard in prep for the conference then wearing myself out having fun :)

Loving #1 Amy - this totally works for you. I'm not sold on #2 - it may be the bare arms. What happened to the shirt sleeves - are they rolled up under the sweater...or did you cut them off...so many questions ;-)
hope you are keeping well! s

I do like it - especially for Spring. And I think you're right about the sweater in #2 - it's really not big, though it's quite short - I think it was intended for someone quite a bit smaller than me. I keep hanging on to it because I have not been able to locate a repeat of this color, which I love.

This is a great formula for you Amy, do you like it? The proportions of 1 look great to me, and I think the sweater in #2 looks cropped enough to work, although it could be a bit boxier IMO. I've been stretching out my tighter sweaters after washing them and trying to "block" them into a bigger shape when drying them flat. It works pretty well on the ones without too much spandex.

This Ensemble is fast becoming one of my favorite silhouettes. Here it is as I've worn it in the last week.

#1 is dark wash blue jeans with a coral button down under a gray sweater.
#2 is a more springy combination - navy skinnies with an aqua checked button-down shirt under a navy short-sleeved sweater. This sweater is cropped, but not short enough to go for the cropped sweater ensemble. I had intended to fold under the band (and will probably still try it that way at some point), but my husband thought it looked "silly" that way.

All comments are welcome! And I'm posting a backlog of WIW, so apologies for flooding the forum....
