Floral blouse went back I may revisit the birdie blouse with the shoes and see how it looks later on, but I feel I can probably find something better.

I figured out one way to wear my shoes.....here I am today.

I vote return the first blouse - I think you nailed it with your previous post but this one is a little high on the granny factor. Love the shoes and can't really comment on your last photo it's a little too dark to see properly.

I love those shoes! They might even go well with the bird blouse.... ;-)

I'm a big fan of wearing multiple shades of the same or a similar color together, without trying to find an exact match. And I rather like the combination of teal and lime-y green in the same outfit, so I am a bit of an enabler in that sense.

I am not a fan of blouses in general, so I vote to return, but those shoes - WOW! They are just amazing! They would unfrump any outfit! Luverly!

I think you might consider complimenting the shoe with another fun color as opposed to try to match. Perhaps a bright cobalt or yellow handbag or other non-clothes item?

Aida for a bit posted a lot of close color pairings so you might search her posts to see two shades of green playing together nicely. Perfect match not required!

OK, so I went from bad to worse ehh...? But it matches the fantastic shoes! :-)....the shoes are the thing....I did not realize they would be so GREEN...most of my greens are in the teal family.....so now I need more green.....but I love the shoes they are staying!!!

OK so the blouse will go back.

I think you should return the blouse. Sorry not a fan. I like what unfrumped said. If you are trying to make a small wardrobe then you are going to be repeating wearing certain items a lot. A noticable pattern like that is pretty memorable and it will be more obvious that you're wearing it again.

Photo #4 is dark b u t from what I can tell I think I like that outfit. Blouse in #1 could.be more iffy.
For color scheme in wardrobe a basic idea is to have enough solids that play well together and fewer , but some people.love pattern and do very well with lots of it. I may tend toward too many patterned tops.
Have you considered some classic patterns like stripes or polka dots? They are timeless and usually don't have to worry as much about " granny" factor as with florals.

In attempt to streamline my small wardrobe and make everything a little more cohesive, I may be trying and buying things that are too similar to each other. Last two photos are of a new blouse and cords that I have and is a love for sure....( I posted this last week) the first two are a blouse I purchased that may be going back.....they have the same purple and in that flowy material. They also have a green and rust.....is this cohesive or too much the same? How do you differentiate and vary wardrobe when you are working with a small set of colors?
