I don't mind the colors (surprise I'm sure ) however I do think that the print doesn't read as geometric nor as abstract as the types of patterns I associate with your style. Of course, could be a sort of wild card. It would work well with all of your dark shades, and could also be fun with white to amp up the graphic integrity.

I am always attracted to these colors - this reminds me of the Allsaints print dress that Diana and I have - but I agree with Lisa there may be one too many colors for me here. Keeps it more bright and cheery than moody, which is okay too. If the first pic is more accurate it looks moody but if the purple is bright, then it's a less subtle print.

Can I be a dissenter? There are one too many colours in the print to my eye - the plum shade in there is throwing me off. I will admit to not being much of a coloured print fan though and prefer a more tonal print look myself. So take it with a grain of salt - or not at all ;)

It looks like it would fit right in with your wardrobe and is a beautiful print, but I understand about not wearing skirts often enough to justify another one. I've got the same situation.

The colors are gorgeous, and I can envision this playing really well with your wardrobe, since the print is grounded in black. Only you can answer whether you will get enough wear out of it to make it worthwhile. I have been stepping away from any tempting skirts I see, because I already have too many skirts that I never wear. The exception is jersey or knit skirts I can wear in summer -- those I can justify because no hosiery is needed. How does this skirt figure into your seasonal dressing? It's hard to tell the weight from the photo. Is it lined? Is it stretchy, like a tube skirt? (If it is summer-appropriate, I want it for myself! ;-))

Well I like it and think it would go well with your wardrobe. But i have found that when I buy a duplicate of a favorite item in another color, I tend to wear it less than the original. Food for thought.

Deborah - I think it looks great on. You do seem to be enjoying more color. It would work beautifully with all your neutrals. If you want to broaden the color palate I think it's a fab choice. But only you know if it's "wantsies" "needsies" or "style-shiftsies"!! But sometimes those things we can't get out of our head are good choices. Sleep on it and see if it's there tomorrow. What does your inner voice tell you?

Thanks ladies!

Brooklyn, yes it's Mottoxx

I have left it behind tonight as i was tired and headache-y and lacked the motivation to shop lol. I will think on it.

I don't need it, I don't wear skirts a lot, and I have some fab ones that need more outings. Also Autumn / Winter stock will start coming soon and from what I have seen I should probably wait;)

Hi Ladies,

Have had my eye on this skirt for a while and it's now seriously reduced. I have the same skirt in black and I love it. Slim fit and asymmetric hemline.

I am very attracted to the moody design and colours both of which will work with plenty of my black tops and jackets.

What do you think? I have no plan to add pattern and colour but when something catches my eye I like to be open. I think this does fit my aesthetic but I may have sale goggles on;)

Thanks for looking.

xxxDeborah.
