My mom is 54 and she has severe Rosacea. She really likes the Pure Minerals by Loreal (I think it's Loreal) you buy at a drugstore. It really covers her redness, too. I use Bare Minerals, which I love, but it has sort of a sheen to it that my mom said made her skin look crepey. Apparently the Pure Minerals doesn't have that sheen, it's very matte. She also has very dry, sensitive skin and lives in a very arid climate, and it still works.

I've heard good things about Clarins. I have very sensitive skin and use Cetaphil products.

Hi Ladies...I know the majority of talk is about clothing, shoes etc which I love. However I feel like all of you are such a wonderful resource I wanted to see if you could suggest your favorite facial moisturizers and foundations for older skin. I have dry skin with some redness so need a heavy duty facial moist. and not too sheer foundation.

Also just got back from my Chicago trip and had a fabulous time. Got to celebrate my b-day with my twin sons who treated me to dinner and then a fabulous chocolate/wine bar in Wicker Part. Needless to say the time with my sons was the best gift ever. Did want to tell all of you should you get to Chicago, visit the Southport area. My first time in that part of the city and LOVED it. Some very cute indep. restaurants and shops.
